What MyMario is

MyMario is a loyalty program for Mario Foods' trade partners — retailers, wholesalers, distributors and our own sales team. Members earn points on purchases and redeem them for rewards. Membership is by enrolment and approval; this is a business app, not a consumer service, and it is not directed at children.

What we collect

Only what the program needs to run:

• Who you are: name, shop/firm name, mobile number, city and territory, and your place in the Mario distribution network (e.g. which distributor serves you).
• Business identity (optional for retailers): PAN and/or GSTIN, used for tax compliance on rewards and to verify your business is genuine.
• Payment detail: your UPI ID, only if you request cashback, and only to send you that money.
• Program activity: QR codes you scan, purchase invoices you upload (including invoice photos), points earned and redeemed, rewards ordered.
• Device: a push-notification token so the app can notify you about offers and payouts.

What we do with it

• Run the program: credit points, process approvals, deliver rewards and cashback.
• Prevent fraud: verify PAN/GSTIN against official records, validate QR codes and invoices.
• Meet legal duties: tax records and deduction (TDS) on rewards where applicable.
• Tell you things that matter: OTPs for login, offer announcements, payout confirmations.

Who else touches your data

Three kinds of service providers, each only for its own job:

• An SMS provider, to deliver login OTPs to your number.
• A payments & verification provider (an RBI-regulated Indian payment company), to verify PAN/GSTIN/UPI details and to transfer cashback.
• Google Firebase, to deliver push notifications.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. Within Mario Foods, your details are visible only to the staff who service you (your Sales Officer and program administrators).

How long we keep it

For as long as your membership is active, and after that as long as Indian tax and audit law requires (points and payouts are financial records). Invoice photos and activity history stay attached to the records they prove.

Your choices

• You can see your own data — profile, points history, bills — inside the app at any time.
• To correct something, ask your Sales Officer or raise a helpdesk ticket in the app.
• To close your account or request deletion, write to us; we will honour it subject to the record-keeping laws above.
• Push notifications can be switched off in your phone's settings.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Data lives in a managed database with restricted access. Payment and verification credentials are held by the regulated providers, not typed into our screens.

Changes
